I finished Medical School from Calcutta University. Earned Postgraduate degree from Gujarat in 2003. Trained in Anatomical Sciences pedagogy in Gujarat and New Delhi, India. Taught Medical Anatomy for 12 years in India and abroad. Moved to the USA for doctoral program from 2011-2017. After working at the Ohio University as a Postdoctoral researcher for one year, I joined UWI as a Senior Lecturer in May 2018. My research intersets include spine biomechanics, investigating neural substrates of phantom pain and exploring therapeutic application of Non Invasive Brain Stimulation NIBS in phantom perceptions like complex pain syndroms and tinnitus.
