Dr Gardiana Bandeira Melo is a Graduate Research Supervisor at the University of the West Indies Open Campus (UWIOC). She holds a PhD in Development Economics from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom as well as a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, both earned at the Sorbonne University in France.
