Biography/Responsibilities/Duties:

Cheryl Peltier-Davis is Faculty Liaison Librarian – Social Sciences  at the Alma Jordan Library, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. Her research interests incudes Social Media and Mobile Apps in libraries, Web 2.0 tools, Core Competencies for Librarians, Digitization, Open Access, Publishing, National Libraries and Caribbean Public Libraries. Her continued interest in emerging technologies has led to the publication of two volumes of The Cybrarian's Web, a guide written to assist librarians and other information professionals integrate social media tools and mobile apps into library workflows.
