Biography/Responsibilities/Duties:

Renee A. Nelson is lecturer in the Department of History and Archaeology at The University of the West Indies, Mona. Her research interest is on regionalism in the Caribbean between 1944 and 1962. Her publications include an article in The Jamaican Historical Review and a chapter in Shifting Perspectives: Personal And Political Transformations (Gesamtherstellung: Leykam Buchverlag, 2016). She is also a member of the Association of Caribbean Historians (ACH). She currently teaches undergraduate courses on North America and the African Diaspora in the western hemisphere.
