Biography/Responsibilities/Duties:

Dr. Lee Leon is a renowned civil engineering lecturer with substantial industrial and research expertise. He has made important contributions to the sector through his broad skills, with a passion for developing road infrastructure development and sustainable pavements. Dr. Leon earned his doctorate in Civil Engineering from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus where he focused on pavement materials and performance. His study focused on developing novel solutions and applying machine learning to reduce road failures and improve road network resilience. His engineering work has been published in a number of respectable publications.

Dr. Leon has worked as a lecturer and lead researcher in the field of highway and pavement engineering. His teaching methodology stresses a comprehensive approach to engineering education, integrating theoretical and practical knowledge. He is well-known for his abilities to excite and encourage students, promoting critical thinking skills and motivating them to become change agents in the business.
Dr. Leon has also been active in a number of professional organizations, motivated by his desire to leave a lasting impression.
