Student Voice and Leadership, Changing Student Behaviour through the Arts, Writing as Methodology, Theatre as Social Consciousness
Yvonne Weekes is an award-winning published writer, actress, director and Theatre Arts educator. She has taught in London, Montserrat and Barbados and performed in many of the Caribbean islands as well as in the UK. She is currently the Panel Chair for the CAPE Performing Arts syllabus and is responsible for the development of the CSEC Theatre Arts syllabus while training drama teachers across the region, she remains a major resource person for the Caribbean Examinations Council. Yvonne holds her PhD in Education and currently teaches Theatre and Arts Education, in both the undergraduate and graduate
