Dr. Motilal is a Senior Lecturer in Family Medicine and has been in academia at UWI since 2012. He teaches undergraduate medical students of the St Augustine campus of the UWI, years 1-5 as well as postgraduate Family Medicine Residents. His major focus has been in the clinical years of MBBS where he teaches in the Family Medicine Clerskship at the undergraduate level. Since Sept 2018 he has been coordinator of the Family Medicine postgraduate programmes (Diploma, and DM). His special interests are in evidence based medicine, biostatistics, artifical intelligence, dermatology, office based procedures in Primary Care and use of technologies in the Primary Care setting.
