I am a Senior Lecturer in Finance at The University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago and am passionate about teaching and mentoring youth in areas of corporate finance, investments and financial markets. In a teaching and research career of nearly twenty-five years, I have used a multi-pronged approach to mentor young students, which include career counseling, in-class and online teaching, use of research tools and technology (webcasts), encouraging oral and written expression and most importantly, transmitting personal zeal to young mentees for them to become successful and responsible financial citizens. A doctorate from Punjabi Univeristy in India, I have published in various journals including the Global Finance Journal, The International Finance Journal, Journal of Business and Economic studies and International Journal of Business. My YouTube channel aims at helping students across the globe in the discipline of finance by facilitating understanding of financial concepts and computations in a user-friendly manner.
