Judith is currently the Officer in Charge of the Sidney Martin library at the UWI Cave Hill Campus in Barbados. She joinedthe library fourteen years ago as liaison librarian for the Facultyof Social Sciences. She later assumed the position of Head User services with responsibility and oversight for access services, user engagement, student assistants and interlibrary loan services. She continues to coordinate Information literacy instruction and undertook the transition of information literacy instruction to online delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With just over thirty years of experience in librarianship her focus has been on special and academic librarianship as well as archival conservation. Prior to joining the University library, she worked at the national and regional organizations and has established business information units, knowledge centres. She has advised on and developed information databases and guided the development of specialized Documentation centers. Herareas of interest include information literacy instruction, genealogical research, and the transformation of library products and services to facilitate online access.
