An International Relations, Communications and Research professional. I hold a BSc. Political Science, International Relations and Communication Studies and an MSc. Global Studies from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. My Master’s research paper focused on “The Use of Social Media in Public Diplomacy Efforts of CARICOM”, which created the impetus for him attaining specialized certifications in E-Diplomacy and Public Diplomacy from the DiploFoundation. My research interests are the LGBT Community in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Commonwealth Caribbean; voting behavior and political culture; public and digital diplomacy in the Caribbean; migration; the sex industry in Trinidad and Tobago; and role of civil society in Trinidad and Tobago. I am currently an MPhil/PhD candidate in Governance at SALISES and my research focuses on healthcare access for LGBTQIA+ persons in the Commonwealth Caribbean from a socio-legal perspective. Concurrently, I am a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Political Science.
