Ms. Soshane Findley is an Instructional Technologist at the University of the West Indies, Mona. As an Instructional Technologist, Soshane trains students, lecturers and other stakeholders on how to use a variety of tools to improve their teaching and learning experience. She also provides continuous technical support in the use of these tools while participating in the research and development of unique education tools for the university. Among her accomplishments is her work in the development of the first official UWI Mona App, her recent publication on Clicker Usage in Higher Education and her pilot testing of Virtual Reality in classrooms at UWI Mona.
Soshane works as an Applied Psychologist focousing on mental health among graduates and the need for the development of programs within universities to improve mental wellbeing. She strongly believes that despite the numerous stereotypes others may hold, being creative will always make you stand out. Dream big, dare to experiment with your own life and never stop trying to improve even if it scares you.
