Dr. Best, attended Harrison College, and won a Barbadian Government Exhibition in 2000. He is a proud UWI graduate, attending Mona and Cave Hill for undergraduate medical training, and Cave Hill for postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is also a Member of the Royal College of the Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
His subspecialty interest is in Reproductive Medicine, particularly in the care of couples experiencing difficulty achieving pregnancy. His observership was at the Birmingham Fertility Centre in November 2013, and his Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine took place over two years (2015-2016) at the Aberdeen Fertility Centre, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom. He is certified in “Assisted Conception” and “Management of the Infertile Couple” by the British Fertility Society. He was instrumental in 2017 in the creation of the QEH Fertility clinic, offering secondary care fertility services.
