Professor Gift joined the Department in 1995. He received his B.Sc. from the University of the West Indies in 1976 and his Ph.D. from the University of the West Indies in 1980. He previously lectured in the Department for four (4) years and subsequently worked in the Telecommunications Industry for over ten (10) years. Dr. Gift's research interests are in the areas of Microelectronics, Control, Particles Physics and Gravitation.
