Rhonda Jaipaul-O’Garro is a marketing and communications professional with almost two decades of experience in higher education. She is currently the University Director, Marketing & Communications at The University of the West Indies. She holds a PhD in Business Administration, and is both a Fulbright Scholar (2013-2014) and Chevening Scholar (2003-2004). In addition to her administrative and academic/research work, she maintains a public service portfolio as a member of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST), established as a statutory body by Republic of Trinidad and Tobago Act No. 20 of 1984, now Chapter 39:58. In February 2020 Dr. Jaipaul-O'Garro was appointed to the UWI COVID-19 Task Force.
