Biography/Responsibilities/Duties:

Dr. Mowatt is a graduate of the Univerisity of the West Indies. She holds a Master's in Medical Sciences (UK), a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (1998), and a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (1999). She completed her ophthalmology Residency at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, UK 1997-2003, and her Vitreoretinal fellowship at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre, UK 2003-2004. She is a Consultant Ophthalmologist (Retinal Surgeon) at the University Hospital of the West Indies and a Professor of Ophthalmology , The University of the West Indies. Her specialist interest is diabetic retinopathy
