Rómulo Guédez-Fernández has an MA in Linguistics for English language (TESOL) from The University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine campus. Trinidad & Tobago, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in Linguists (in the area of second language assessment). He is a Foreign Language Instructor (Spanish) and lecturers in the TESOL Programme at The UWI. He has been involved in second/foreign language education for over fifteen years and taught on introductory Language Assessment courses.
His main research interest includes ELT, Global Englishes and language assessment.
