During the Covid-19 pandemic, taking care of your mental health is just as important as any measures to keep your body virus-free. Dr Katija Khan is a Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Clinical Medical Sciences at The UWI St. Augustine Campus. She was also appointed to the regional UWI COVID-19 Task Force in March 2020. In this video series, Dr Khan provides general advice on coping with a crisis, how to handle feelings of isolation, uncertainty, feeling overwhelmed, information overload, and what to do if home is not a safe space. She also has advice for UWI staff and students on how to handle stress related to working from home, measuring productivity during a pandemic, and anxiety over the sudden shift to online teaching and learning.
