Served as an Observer at The Caribbean Returning Nationals Foundation’s (CRN) Challenge Cup-Caribbean hosted in partnership with 1776 at MovieTowne Banquet and Conference Centre, January 15, 2016. This local event hosted startups throughout the Caribbean and diaspora as part of the Caribbean leg of this global competition. Pitches were heard from startups based in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, and the USA, from which Judges selected 3 winning startups to receive cash, access to a network of mentors, and guaranteed admission to the Challenge Cup Regional in New York City in March 2016, and then possibly compete for US$1 million in prizes at the Global Finals in Washington, D.C. in June 2016.
