The UWIScholar initiative is aimed at providing a central repository for all scholarly activity at The University of the West Indies. It contains information collection from the Research Information Management System (RIMS) at the STA, the Mona Online Research Database (MORD) at MONA and UWI Research Database (UWIRD) at CAVE HILL.

The UWIScholar is designed to be the single point of entry for scholarly activity. Researchers will be able to deposit and access their individual information and seek help with research management. Public and private sector entities can utilize UWIScholar as a way of finding experts in the various fields.
